dj.AnaRoxSicc specializes in mixing, blending, and performing various types and styles of music, generally within Dance and Popular formats within multiple genres. With over 15 years experience as a DJ in clubs, VIP Events, private parties, and corporate events; he is most known as a DJ for his ability to read an audience and create a progressive and lasting vibe, pleasing crowds of any given demographic. AnaRoxSicc began playing records during junior high school in the Los Angeles area, and has continued to do so since his relocation to Chicago in the late 1990’s.
dj.AnaRoxSicc is also an experienced MC/Host, having hosted, co-hosted, and featured at spoken word readings and poetry slams, as well as live shows and nightclub events since 1995. The most notable include Chicago’s premiere upscale live music venue and night club, The Shrine, the 2003 National Poetry Slam in Chicago, Mental Graffiti in Chicago from 1996 – 2005 (which served as the launchpad for HBO’s Def Poetry Jam), The Green Mill in Chicago, The World Stage in Los Angeles, Bar 13 in New York City, and The Nuyorican Cafe in New York City.
